Pearson VUE invests in new Assessment Innovation Hub at state-of-the-art medical testing facility with the Australian Medical Council

Pearson VUE is expanding its partnership with the Australian Medical Council (AMC), through investment into an Assessment Innovation Hub within the new AMC National Test Centre, a purpose-built, state-of-the art testing facility, set to launch next year.

The AMC is an independent national standards body for medical education, assessment, and training in Australia. As part of its function, the AMC undertakes assessments for international medical graduates seeking registration to practice medicine in Australia.

In addition to the Assessment Innovation Hub, Pearson VUE will locate a Pearson Professional Center at the National Test Centre as part of the agreement. This provides convenience for candidates to take both their multiple-choice question (MCQ) assessment and clinical examinations at the new location.

Pearson VUE has collaborated with the AMC since 2008, providing computer adaptive testing (CAT) for the AMC’s MCQ exam and supported delivery of the marking system for its clinical examinations at the Council’s current testing site.
