Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer-based certification and licensure exam delivery, and HCLTech, a premier IT firm in India, announced a strategic partnership focused on providing state-of-the-art test centers in India developed to expand delivery of the highly demanded Pearson Test of English (PTE).
Through this collaboration, HCLTech will spearhead the opening of several cutting-edge test centers, meticulously designed to provide PTE test-takers with unparalleled security and a standardized testing environment. The first of these new test centers have launched in Ambala & Kurukshetra (Haryana), Bathinda & Barnala (Punjab), Anand (Gujarat), and Jammu, and seven additional centers will be opened across India in 2023.
The new test centers will offer convenience and answer the growing demand for the Pearson PTE in India, which is driven in part by immigration requirements elsewhere. In addition to expanding the availability of PTE for English learners, this new network of test centers will help ensure credential and candidate integrity by employing a multi-layered approach to security, including innovative test design and delivery, advanced identity management, proctored delivery, automatic results validation, and data forensics.
