Gary Gates - Read biography
Senior Vice President, Global Business, Pearson VUE
An international business expert, Gary Gates is responsible for leading Pearson VUE’s strategic efforts outside North America. In this vital role, he works to incubate and grow Pearson VUE international opportunities by establishing partnerships, recommending acquisitions, and collaborating with established Pearson businesses located in the United Kingdom, the Middle East, South Africa, India, China, Japan, Korea, and Australia.
Gary’s considerable experience launching international enterprises includes development, commercialization, and internationalization of innovative technology which transformed how governments and other constituents source traffic information. He has also negotiated and established joint ventures and has won new business on a global scale. Prior to joining Pearson VUE, he held senior management positions with British Nuclear Fuels Plc and British Energy. Gary received his PhD in Inelastic Scattering in Gas-Surface Dynamics from the University of Liverpool and graduated with honors from the University of York with a BS in Theoretical Physics.
Divyalok Sharma - Read biography

Divyalok Chetan Sharma heads Pearson VUE’s SAARC business, developing and defining vertical market penetration strategies within the region. As part of this role Divyalok is responsible for revenue generation and leading the overall development strategy by growing indigenous business. He also partners with other Pearson divisions to find and grow joint business opportunities.
With over 20 years’ experience, he has a proven track record in business strategy, innovative development, and relationship management, as well as growing, leading and motivating teams in a sales and customer focused market. Divyalok has successfully designed and managed assessment, certification and training delivery solutions for some for the largest organizations in the world.
As a Senior Director, he has provided strategic direction for the rollout of global programs and managed turnkey projects in the corporate market space. He also has rich relationship management experience with customers and vendors in the US, the UK, Australia, Japan, India, China and APAC (Asia Pacific).
Dr. Sandhya Chintala - Read biography
Vice President, and Executive Director Sector Skills Council, NASSCOM
Dr Sandhya Chintala is the Executive Director/CEO of IT- ITeS Sector Skills Council NASSCOM (SSC NASSCOM). SSC NASSCOM addresses the ‘Education & Skills Development Initiative’ of this industry body for the country. Dr. Sandhya Chintala is also the Vice President of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), which is the chamber of commerce of the IT-BPM industry.
Dr Chintala has a rich background in international and national education management. Her role at NASSCOM includes providing the roadmap for IT-BPM industry’s/ NASSCOM’s education initiatives,the development of industry standards to facilitate a quality talent pool, liaising between industry, academia and government and making India the preferred global destination.
As a strategist Dr Chintala has in close collaboration with the IT-BPM industry and other relevant stakeholders contributed to the design and development of the Sector Skills Council for NASSSCOM. She has identified and executed programs to develop ready-to-deploy talent by laying standards for skill requirements in the IT-BPM industry.
To facilitate talent transformation and acquisition, her contribution aims at the development of multiple programs of occupational learning that support employer requirements in the face of shrinking labor markets and growing international competition. Dr Chintala‘s contribution toward the development of a ‘Work force Market Intelligence System’, the ‘Analysis of Talent Supply and Demand’ report, the ‘Quality Assurance Parameters for Affiliation, Accreditation and Certification’ documents and the design and development of high-end online assessments and platforms for Qualification Packs and related areas, have helped modernize and bridge the gap between education provision and vocational training for this industry.
Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar - Read biography
Founding Vice Chancellor, OP Jindal Global University
Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar was appointed as the Founding Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) in India at the age of 34 in 2009. He also serves as the Founding Dean of Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) and Director of the International Institute for Higher Education Research & Capacity Building (IIHEd).
JGU is a multidisciplinary and research-oriented university with six different schools relating to law, business, international affairs, public policy, liberal arts & humanities and Journalism & Communication. It has acquired a stellar reputation in India and abroad for its effort to promote excellence in teaching, research, capacity building and community service. In recognition of its contributions, JGU was awarded the highest grade “A” in the national accreditation process of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Professor Kumar was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, UK, where he obtained his Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) degree; a Landon Gammon Fellow at the Harvard Law School, USA, where he obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree and a James Souverine Gallo Memorial Scholar at the Harvard University. He was awarded the Doctor of Legal Science (S.J.D.) by the University of Hong Kong. He also obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Delhi, India; and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from the Loyola College of the University of Madras, India.
He has contributed articles in newspapers and magazines published from Hong Kong, India and the UK. He has also held consultancy assignments in the field of human rights and governance to the United Nations University (UNU), Tokyo; United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); UN Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights, Geneva; and the International Council for Human Rights Policy (ICHRP), Geneva. He has advised the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) in Sri Lanka and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in India on issues relating to corruption and good governance.
Professor Kumar is an Attorney at Law and is admitted to the Bar Council of Delhi, India and the Bar of the State of New York, USA.
Dr. Sanjay Modi - Read biography

Dr. Sanjay Modi is the Executive Dean, Faculty of Business and Arts in LPU. He is a graduate in Arts with Honors, an MBA and Ph.D in Management. He started his professional career in the industry, where he worked for three years in the field of marketing. He has been a faculty member at Department of Management, Punjabi University Patiala for about twenty years and also served as Director, Audio Visual Research Centre of the University. He joined the Lovely group in 2001 as the Founder Director of Lovely Institute of Management. His areas of interest for research have been industrial relations, trade unionism and Human resource management and he has numerous research publications and two books to his credit. He has been guiding doctoral research in the domains of trade unionism, child labour, ethics, corporate governance, work-life balance, employee engagement and talent management etc. He has been conducting Management Development Programmes for the industry and he is a popular resource person for discussions on Doordarshan Jalandhar. He has been presented with Dayanand Munjal Manager of the Year Award for 2014 by Ludhiana Management Association.

In the past, Rajiv has worked in various IT and BPO companies like Nasdaq listed Imparto Software as the Country Head- HR, Moser Baer as Group Head-People Development & Systems America as the Vice President & Chief People Officer for their BPO operations and BCI, the world’s largest BPO certifications company as the President & CEO.
An accomplished professional, Rajiv was the youngest ever National Council member of Indian Society for Training and Development (1999-2000) and was awarded Best Organizational Psychologist of the year in 2000 by Psycho Linguistic Association of India. Rajiv was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year – 2014 by Thought Leaders International & CHRO Asia. He is also member of the Bloomberg Market Advisory Board since 2008.
In his free time, Rajiv enjoys singing and listening old Hindi Bollywood songs and loves to play Table Tennis.

Sanjeeva is also among the world’s top experts on ICT industry growth and advises governments on strategic industry policy, workforce credentialing, enterprise development and ICT ecosystem design. He holds Master’s degrees in Condensed Matter Physics and International Business from Banaras Hindu University and has worked for Tata Unisys, Lotus Pharma and Gillette in the past.
